Well, that word ("faster") always gets my attention as like Ben I
am a bit of an optimization-nut!! (No offense meant, Ben!)
Perhaps a bit more info is in order. What is the structure of the
current scroll-module?
You say that the scroll is achieved using "Screen Offset". I
assume you mean you are using a hybrid hardware/software
scroll correct?
Also, what are the requirements of this scroll-module? Do you
simply need horizontal scrolling or do you need to allow vertical
scrolling as well?
Give an example of the specific scrolling requirements as well as
your current scroll-module.
It'll be fun to see just how fast we can get it to GOOOOOO!!

Someone else will have to address this as I have heard of some
extensions but, personally, I never use them!!
